Nomination Process to the Board of Directors
Gates Four HOA Members,
 
The Board of Director’s Nominating Committee will approve nominees to fill three 3-year seats on the Gate Four HOA Board
of Directors at the February 19th monthly Board meeting.  Nominees must be an owner and a resident of Gates Four for a minimum
of two years; be able to attend and participate in the monthly Board meetings and other meetings as called; and perform committee and
other duties for the HOA in the execution of the bylaws and covenants.  Per the Bylaws, the Nominating Committee shall make as many
nominations for election to the Board of Directors as it shall in its discretion determine, but the number of nominations may not
exceed the number of vacancies to be filled.  The selections by the Nominating Committee will be noted on the General Membership
meeting notification/proxy, which will be mailed to each property owner prior to the meeting. The General Membership meeting is
scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th.  Write-in votes will be allowed on the meeting notification/proxy and nominations may be made
on the floor at the General Membership meeting.  The Board Nominating Committee will be chaired by President Dale Young and
staffed by Board members not up for re-election.
 
Any property owner and member of the Association seeking to be considered for a open seat on the Board of Directors by the
Nominating Committee and meeting the above criteria should submit their name, address, phone number, date of initial
property ownership, qualifications and why you want to serve on the Board to the Nominating Committee by either sending
an email to gatesfourhoa@aol.com or leaving this information in a sealed envelop marked for the attention of the “HOA Nominating
Committee” with Property Manager, Bill Simons at the Dundle Road Property Manager’s office.  Deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m.
on Monday, February 10th for consideration.  If there are more applicants than seats available on the Board, interviews will be
conducted with all applicants during the week of February 12th. All members submitting their qualifications will be notified in
writing or by email as to the final selections of the Nominating Committee.
